i'm back

hey ppl,

missed me, jr here so i took some time away from this blog (i was sticking) but now i feel the need to spill again so, look out for my tech vomit coming out to you soon.

bmobile vs digicel (coverage)

When asking the question digicel or bmobile one must consider different aspects of the services provided, that are of use, to the individual or group.

I will attempt to make a comparison of bmobile vs digicel taking each aspect in turn.

I am currently with digicel and i am thinking of switching to bmobile who i was with initially. We must always be willing to switch carriers otherwise the competition does not work to the consumer's advantage.

One of the most important features of any cellphone provider is coverage:

In the very early days of digital cell service, with bmobile being the only provider many parts of TNT was covered with very little if any service at all. Then digicel came along with 99% coverage (which was the reason that i switched to them).

The situation is a bit different now. There is bmobile coverage in most places int TNT however everyone knows someone that still can't get proper bmobile service in their home, while digicel gives full bars. There are even parts of Lavantille in POS that don't get proper bmobile service.

In summary if you are living in an area that is not covered well by bmobile, digicel is the way to go. Switch, don't be running from room to room (or outside) looking for a signal. Also call bmobile and let them know why you are switching so maybe one day when they upgrade their signal in your area you may consider switching back if they throw in some extra goodies.

Free WIFI in Rituals Keate Street San Fernando

So it seems that the "rumor" that there is free wifi at rituals, church's chicken and pizza boys can be at least partially confirmed, as our correspondent chantal was able to pick up some wifi at a rituals in Sando.

As with the hotspot in marios that i found last month, the connection was supplied by flow.

Flow must be given props for this move and i look forward to it being sustained and not just a short term gimmick. keep it up Flow.

Free WIFI at Marios Montrose Chaguanas

So i still have not confirmed the info in my last post that there is free wifi at rituals, pizza boys and church's chicken. However i can confirm that there is free wifi at marios in montrose chaguanas.

The wifi seems to be supplied by flow, i walked up to the counter to purchase a burger and i saw an interesting little sticker on the counter that said something about flow wifi spot, so i pull out my phone one time.

When i connected i was directed to a default page that had logos of marios and flow and a hard to find (cause my screen is small) ok button that allowed me to start surfing.

I checked my mail and replied to one while my burger was being made, that really was a great experience and i am so glad to see that companies are starting to provide this service to customers. instead of just having a locked network that we could see but not use.

Big up to marios and i hope to see more of this in the near future.

Free WIFI at all Rituals, Pizza Boys and Church's Chicken

i have heard but not yet confirmed that there is free wifi at all Rituals, Pizza Boys and Church's Chicken restaurants.

i find this hard to believe that ALL will be equipped with wifi, but that is what i hear. i will try to confirm as many as possible, if you confirm any please let me know.

if this turns out to be true i think this is a GIANT step in the right direction. and i would hope that other businesses will follow.
